Salam all,

What does 'muta-sharida' translate to in English? (moota-shurr-idda) Had never heard it said until a recent trip to Egypt.

Farhana , this words means homeless so we say it for homeless people dirty people , if we see someone comes as ex and he seems horrible we ask him oh what happen why you look as (motasharid (for man) .
so it can tell as a joke between friends and as a dirty word to someone who wanna **** him.

It doesn't seem to me like the perfect way to make somone feel bad. Usually it's used to refer to the homeless children or jokingly between friends.

From the same root of this word comes words like "Sha-red" as in "sha-red al zehn" refers to someone who lost his mind in memories or whatever.
