Originally posted by yazid904: [QB] Mr Winters approach is far superior to others because he seeks to diminish his own individual bias with the scientific method. What is the hypothesis? WHat is the alterntive hypothesis? We want to confirm a theory by using objective criteria/ananlysis! Here is my take on an ineresting case study: As an example, the present DNA crowd want us to beileive that Haplogroup U is European one but recent genotyping have found it exists in Cameroon and some Fulbe (Fula/Fula) groups but they never explain! Why don't they? haha! They realize something is amiss! A simple solution would be to see which of haplogroup U is the oldest but they hesitate. Do you know why? They have invested time and money and economic benefit to perpetrate certaim lies and myths that will never die! Say a lie long enough and people will believe it and it does work! There are a few authors out there who have shown convincingly that Japanese, Turkish and Indo-European language are related! Let me back up to say the very term Indo-European is a myth but it has been in use long enough where we have come to accept it. Now people like Dr Winters has the best of scientific and documentable information in the assertion of his research and he is automatically labelled 'an upstart'. Dr Winters is not saying that Olmecs are African or Dravidians are Africans. There is a root group of Africans who separated from their main group and went on to form new groups with separate identity. Since Turkey is my favourite reference point in modern history, the Turks' origin is Central Asia but the people in Turkey, while speaking a version of modern Turkish, are far removed from their Central Asian brethren. Style of life, modernity, deitary habits, etc. If I were to look at Suleiman the Magnificant, give him a haircut and dress him in Eurocentric clothing, he would be seen as possibly Irish or Welsh! All I am saying is that we examine with our open eyes and then see if the evidence supports what we imagine or not imagine as the semblance of truth. [/QB]
