My question is whether there is any genetic evidence to support or corroborate this oral tradition? So far we have evidence of some genetic ties to the Beja and east Africa but is there any evidence of ancient Arabian lineages? Also note the influence of the Kunta clan in the era of precolonial West Africa, including the Tuareg rebellion against French occupation. http://www.egyptsearch.com/forums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=006760 Also FYI I came across this interesting video about a man named Ahcène Mariche who has done research on Kabylie Poetry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylkOE-ta6YQ [/QB][/QUOTE]
