PPN folks should be a better fit when it comes to a starting point from which to model AE. In my view, though, it's like making a choice between Rihanna or Alicia keys as a starting point to model African Americans. Though their parentage is different in several respects, for our intents and purposes, it doesn't really matter. The point is, African Americans are better modeled by using hybrid African Americans (Rihanna, Alicia Keys) as a starting point than by using, say, YRI or LWK as a starting point. Or did you meant to address something else? EDIT Actually Sade is not such a good example. An islander or mainland Afram is what I was going for. [/qb][/QUOTE]Fair enough.
