Does this help you any at all or did I make it worse? [/qb]
Still left a little confused. Sorry I wanted to give myself a few times to read it over before commenting. I think I get the idea of bottlenecks and founder effects. It's just that if genetic differences within SSA are as large as global comparissons to two OOA groups, I don't see how the label of SSA as a grouping with genetic support is a well founded idea. P.S: I'm not saying all of academia does this. It just seems that there are people with sociopolitical interest that use the term SSA and want to make their political distinctions rooted in biological fact. That or they've heard it so many times it's normal for them to think in that direction without pondering it. [/QB]
