Many Nigerians would not agree with you. Racism exists in America also. But they feel the opportunities outweigh the racism. In the video one of the Nigerian men has also married a Chinese woman which shows that they are not all racist.
I think you just don't want to see dark faces mingling with the Chinese.
Why not they are all up in Africa sucking out the minerals, trying to marry African women so they can get citizenship.

Chinese and the pacific East Asian often strike me as fairly arrogant folks. Their prejudices against Africans should not be surprising. But then again, xenophobia pervades many corners of the globe.

How is Africa the future? What are they offering? And please dont say natural resources. The west is outsourcing to India, and China is manufacturing homegrown technology. I can see these two as newly industrialized or developed countries.

As for Africa, what is it contributing to the industrialized world?

Civil Rights does not exist in China and they are not obligated to legislate it. At least in the west, particually America, there is Civil Rights to protect Negroes.

I am sick and tired of negroes begging non-blacks for help. For fvck's sake! Nigerian land is rich in resources. Why can't thess assholes take advantage of it? Don't they know how?

You are an idiot! They are exploiting the land!! They could care less for the people on it! You think that places importance on the lives of Africans? When will Africans exploit the resources of foreign lands?!?! Don't they have the intellectual capacity to pull it off?

China is [economically] colonizing Africa. Truly sad to see that, considering we are in the 21st century and Africans are still looking to any colonialist to lift them from their misery.

More than 24 million Chinese men of marrying age could find themselves without spouses in 2020, state media reported on Monday, citing a study that blamed sex-specific abortions as a major factor.

Tanzanian women in search for Chinese husbands

Daily News (of Tanzania)
Staff Writer, 23rd October 2009

ZAINA, 28, a tall Tanzanian woman, intends to cash in on the new Chinese presence in Africa. She is planning to find herself an oriental husband.

“I had hoped to get a Westerner like you,” she told The Times. “But they are few and far between these days and Chinese are not so fussy and I’m not getting any younger.

They say they are racist, but they like local women.” As her eyes darted around the appropriately named Jolly nightclub and bar, she admitted that she faced an uphill struggle.

The competition is ferocious. Apart from a solitary Chinese man, quietly sipping a beer at the bar and a group of young men playing pool, the favourite after-work drinking hole is overflowing with groups of young women, chatting excitedly.

“It is early, Chinese men work hard and come later, they not lazy like Tanzanians,” Zaina said. “Problem is many, many girls; me not really their type. I am tall and slim.

They prefer small, fat ladies with paler skins,” she said, confiding with a whisper that some of the girls were busy applying skin-lightening ointment.

“They buy it in Congo — we call them the Michael Jacksons.” Word has spread through Dar es Salaam, , that many of the Chinese men who have flooded into the country in recent years are open to marrying local women.

In reality, only a handful of marriages have taken place.
Increasing numbers of Chinese entering the country were first noted in 1986, mainly attributed to trade liberalization as the country moved from a Socialist-style planned economy to a Western-backed market one.

Since then the Chinese have been at the centre of accusations linked to wildlife slaughter, illegal export of timber and other minerals, counterfeit goods production and a growing trade in drugs and prostitution.

Critics of the growing relationship with Beijing say that Chinese are now marrying local women to circumvent restrictions on foreigners gaining residency permits and owning land and companies.

Such restrictions often do not apply to people married to Tanzanian nationals who can easily also gain nationality. “I don’t see the Chinese presence as positive because it is a one-way street.

The Chinese want to trade in their own products, which they subsidise. Ten years down the road our local industries will not exist,” said Hussein Kamote, of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries.

“They love our women, especially the ones with big bottoms. I don’t know why they have that reputation for racism. That’s certainly not the case here.”

Others say that the Chinese are using their women as mules to carry ivory from poached elephants and rhinos out of the country and drugs on the way back again.

In July, a Dar es Salaam businesswoman with connections to Chinese traders was detained at the international airport for allegedly trying to smuggle elephant tusks and carvings made from ivory in a suitcase destined for the Far East.

Like the rest of Africa, where in 2007 China had investments totalling $3.3 billion (£2 billion) from almost nothing a decade earlier, Tanzania has benefited from a host of major infrastructure projects.

In August, using its enormous war chest of foreign currency savings, China said that it was investing $400 million in a scandal-hit coal mine.

On a visit to the country last February, President Hu Jintao granted an additional $22 million in aid, with no strings attached.

“The friendship between China and Tanzania . . . can be viewed as an exemplary relationship of sincerity, solidarity and co-operation between China and an African country,” Mr Hu said.

Many Tanzanians, particularly those outside government, are not so sure.

^You are a negress in denial hoping black women are desirable and can allure non-black men. The number of unwedded black women is staggering! You are desperate for any men, at any cost, and will even delude yourself.

Here is a quote from your own pathetic article:

"Others say that the Chinese are using their women as mules to carry ivory from poached elephants and rhinos out of the country and drugs on the way back again."

you keep dreaming. Chinese are by far more racist and xenophobic than the white man. You have a better chance at snatching a white boy than a mr. Chin.

In fact, Angola is more than a stooge and is an international player in the oil industry. The state-owned Sonangol won the bid to develop two Iraqi oilfields in a competition against European, US and Chinese oil concerns. This is significant, because the U.S. is the main occupying force in Iraq.

*Angolan firm wins Qayara, Najmah oilfields

*Fields near Mosul, one of Iraq's most violent cities (Adds details, quote, background)

By Simon Webb

BAGHDAD, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Angola's national oil company Sonangol won deals to develop two oilfields in one of Iraq's most dangerous provinces on Saturday.

The Qayara and Najmah oilfields were among the smallest on offer in a two-day auction for 10 fields that included some of Iraq's choicest fields.

Sonangol won two of the highest per-barrel remuneration fees at the auction -- $5.00 for Qayara and $6.00 for Najmah.

The higher fees reflects the smaller size of the fields and the lower quality oil they will produce and may also be an indicaton of the difficulties facing Sonangol in a dangerous corner of Iraq, still grappling with post-war violence.

The nearby city of Mosul is one of the most violent cities in the country. Shootings or bombings by insurgent groups like al Qaeda are a regular occurence.

The region's diverse population of Arabs, Kurds, Christians and Turkmen is one reason for the tension. Organised crime in a security vacuum is also blamed for the high rate of violence...

Your approval or disapproval has no bearing on facts. It's nothing that a simple google won't solve...take for instance, Teuchos Maroc (once called Assystem Maroc) was called on to design the compressor outlet of the Airbus 380 Jet engine for the GE and SNECMA engine alliance project using Moroccan engineers , or take floor panels and airbus doors built at EADS Maroc, the airbus airframes being built at a new plant in Tunisia called Aerolia Tunis, the wing components and interior being built by South African firm called Aerosud, or Airbus A300 panels being designed and built by Denel of southern Africa. Just plug in any of these examples, which are just part of many, and you'll cure yourself of the ignorance.

quote:

Please list the products manufactured in Africa that play major roles in western industries.

Stop being lazy and do a simple google search.

All I can say is that you hope Chinas play for Africa benefits both sides.

I belive in Unity and I want to see Chinese come to love And Respect Africa.

Africa has to learn that they have HUGE potential. They should try to promote Love and Respect for themselves as well as others.

I also think that For Africa to become Major players, they need the governments that Push there people first and above outsiders. Africa can bring back the glory days by simply pushing and helping there people From Egypt to South Africa, Africans must work together to better there life in this cold heartless world.

Peace

Orwell and Huxley predicted the totalitarian powers will rise again. Just compare so-called freedoms to pre and post 9/11/01. The NSA is authorized by executive order to monitor, without search warrants, phone calls, e-mails, internet activity, text messaging, and other communication involving any party believed by the NSA to be outside the U.S., even if the other end is within the U.S. Crony Multinational Corporatism controls the levers of U.S. policy. Now any Corporation can buy their own U.S. presidential candidate with no public disclosure or money limits. Stock Markets make obscene profits off of legalized speculative 'gambling' markets with imaginary capitol. Long term planning China is a Capitalistic Govt Totalitarian state and one that will be the greatest economic/military superpower by 2030. Sorry Folks to be so optimistic but the worse is yet to come.

I wouldn't be too sure about China becoming "the" greatest economy/military superpower, because China is essentially a cheap labor hub of largely "Western" and Asian Pacific multinational corporations. As one report put it, China is "a giant with feet of clay", with the bulk of its people earning measly low wages and living in poverty.

I find it amusing that the Chinese can claim to be racist. Let's be frank. East Asians are the just about the most physically unattractive people on earth. They are not satisfied with their bridgeless noses so they flock to cosmetic surgery to put in plastic bridges. Their eyes also cause them to feel aesthetically cheated--hence cosmetic surgery again. And they even go to the surgeon to lengthen their dumpy chimp-like legs.

And they they just love and adore whites--men and women. Always fawning before them.

And their civilisation? Highly overrated. On their cuisine? They will eat anything that moves--cooked or raw.

And their brain power? A lot of memory work and copy-cat instincts.

And their relationship with Africa? Just a bunch of jack-negro governments who allow these dog-eaters in. I mean what's so hard about building highways or dams or digging out minerals with heavy machinery.

All the technology to build infrastructure already exists and can be bought and used. Nigeria, Angola, Gabon, Libya, South Africa, etc., have enough cash to buy or lease such equipment. But their clueless government leaders are busy stealing money, cheating the people and living stupid aimless
lives. All they are waiting for are pats on the back and big dinners from Europeans and Asians.

Not that you wrong but you are wrong to generalize..anything said in the above post others had applied it African including dog eating and getting cut, fawning over White folks, but I am willing to bet that none of that would describe you or most Africans or folks of African decent right here on this board, much less in the wider communities, have you lived in Asia?..not saying it's all grits N gravy but nothing like you imagine it to be or the people to be. again a sensationalized story while real is out matched by the numerous stories of success and friendships.

Btw contact in trade was something I witness while living in NYC,Africans were the ones who bridged the gap between Chinese and AAs as they were the ones setting up shops in China Town in-tandem with the Chinese traders so maybe that was the trend before the trend..

I have not lived in Asia but i have met Asians in the West and Africa. I read about their riots against African students a while back and their racist residence policies. Whites get a free pass while blacks have a hard time. And yet the buggers wnat to set up shop in Africa.

I had 3 Asian teachers once: 2 Japanese and 1 Korea. One of the Js was very racist and the Korean also racist. the other J was just very surprised I knew my stuff--very condescending.

well, you guys probably heard Angela Merkle note that multi culturalism has failed. It may well be that some of our basic liberal assumptions of the last 50 years are so are incorrect.

You name White African countries and you expect me to be impressed?

Just plug in any of these examples, which are just part of many, and you'll cure yourself of the ignorance.

I don't state facts to impress you; they are what they are. And these African countries must be alien to you, for you to dismiss them as some fantasy 'white African countries'.

Ps: Under your 'confirming truth' alter ego your objection was to African contribution to industrialized world, to which you were given a reality check. Your reaction was to denounce this reality, to which you were given specifics of evidence at hand. Now, your reaction is to divide the continent to some fictitious 'black' or 'white' deal. In summation, you should actually change your alter ego pseudonym to "unconfirming truth", because that is what you do.

For heaven's sake, who the fvck cites south Africa as evidence to a thriving, homegrown Black African country?! Only an idiot void of historical knowledge! Do you think the Negro natives can sustain and maintain the white infrastructure left for them? We shall see in the next 20 yrs.

People who know where south Africa is on the map and know what its people look like, and know how that country got to what it is today.

Only an idiot void of historical knowledge!

Then I take it you are that idiot.

Yes. The fact that it is a thriving and vibrant economy today is enough proof of that.

China is attempting to implement a very controlled and limited multicultural society to exploit third world natural resources; they are following the western model, up to a point. It won't succeed since Chinese are hyper-xenophobes.

So why are Africans not building infrastucture?? What's taking so long??
