Jarvis if you are going for a holiday you should relax a bit mate. You will not learn anything if you go with preconcieved ideas, land of god or no. We need to remember that not everyone in the world gives a flying f### about western ideals-many people look another way and do just fine. I think you sound nervous and defensive because you have put in your mind " muslim " this " muslim" that.Are you sure you mean muslim and not " arab"? Have you travelled much before? You know a lot of muslims are secular, as you say. As you probabaly would be if you were born somwhere like that. Like Malaysia, Indonesia,Egypt. And crackpots are everywhere- western example-those people who stand on roadsides slamming gays and getting their kids to hold signs about gays going to hell with bible quotes. Happy and clean religious behaviour? I DONT think so!!!! So I hope you enjoy your trip, get a great video, and just not worry too much about religion while your doing it. And make sure you use your austin powers powers for good, not evil LOL.

acctually, one time I was driveing down the street, and there was this gorgous blonde gal, holding a "God hate fags sign"...she was across a street protesting someing a school board did...
anyway, I should have pulled over and told her it was her duty to have sex with me....so I would'nt become what God hates...I regret not doing that...
even though I am and have allways been 100% straight...

Sam -its called Oxford Street in a suburb called Darlinghurst. Bar after bar after bar. Its the gay area in sydney( with kick ass hairdressers), just a doddle up from centrepoint through hyde park.
