I'm also looking for friends. I've been in maadi for about 3 months and haven't managed to find anyone remotely interesting. It's either hany and dina, 20-somethings going on 13, obsessed with mimicking american pop-culture, or it's the ex-pats who hide in their enclaves and occasionally appear at the supermarket or c.s.a to work out. If anyone is interested in hanging out or is a member of the c.s.a. and would like a workout partner just let me know and I'll provide my email. take care and hope to hear from you.

Sorry, Enas, it was just an innocent joke. I know sometimes we can be a bit nasty. Anyway, I'm a female so we can be friends. No meals. Ooops, males

Hi - quite funny looking at the posts here. Anyway, I'm newly arrived in Cairo, working in Maadi and living in Zamalek. Single guy and in my 30s, looking for cool people to hang out with, laugh etc.
I'm not Egyptian and would like to meet both Egyptians and other international folk. I'm meeting mainly married couples w/kids in Maadi, which is nice but not quite my thing. Cheers then!

Poor Enas, you put ur self in a trap LOL for the English AWARENESS group of sarcasm :P
How u doing ? I am curious... I worked as the Human Resources Director for (XCompany) that was right next door of Schlumberger on the same floor in AD-UAE. We sorta shared the same conference room that is if you were in Al Massood building

hI i m Sam, and living near Maadi. I was really searching for a good-looking, kind hearted, well-cultured person (male or female) to go with and have some fun. Actually I have no friends (nearly none) and after graduation I lost all of them and couldn't rebuild ties. I was looking for someone to take me with him to Sayed El 3Atefy or any other movie, but couldn't find any. I am nearly lonely. Could any body from all those above venture to make me his friend and take me out of the work circle? I am really lonely (and angry cause nobody replied to my post before that one and some 40 replies were made here.)
