Salam aleikom Me and a friend are thinknig of making a website promtoing and/orselling products for egyptians or egyptian residents in general..
What products would you be willing to buy through the net or at least would like to see info about them here. Which products attract you more?

Nice idea but not very logical. Not too many Egyptians (living in Egypt) can or have credit cards which is what is needed to purchase items off the internet. Unfortunately, the opportunity to obtain a credit card that works via the internet was taken away when some brainless twits got on the internet and made scams with credit cards and that is why...Now...it is difficult to find a bank in Egypt that makes credit cards that works off the internet. Unless, you want to spend a small fortune of about 4000 L.E. to obtain this credit card.

There are credit cards made specifically for the internet at present time. I just inquired about that 3 days ago at the National Bank of Egypt( el bank el ahly) and there r other banks too ..NSGB for example.. But you got a point about not many having credit cards. Still wanna see what would others like to buy in general..

Not sure about what Egyptians might want to buy from internet but here in US I buy new clothes from E-bay all the time at ridiculously low prices. And always with tags still attached.

All types of cosmetics. In Uk there is a shop called LUSH you can smell it from 100 yards. It is wonderful. I will miss it so much when I move to egypt.

I just bought some rabbits online, Creme D'Argents. I look for unusual toys, science and lab supplies, some kinds of ammo, rugs, blankets, unusual cooking supplies, and hard to find spices and sauces. Oh, and clothes. And once in a while a husband. Just kidding.
