women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men dont want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling & getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that arent as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree

That is lovely! I am going to put that in my friends christmas card, she has just left her partner after suffering years of abuse from him. I am sure when she reads it she will smile, something that she hasn't been able to do in a very long time.

The hurt and abuse you have experienced did not stop you from trying to create a better life for yourself. this will to survive makes you a survivor, not a victim. keep believing in yourself and your right to be happy.
