Egypt is just a greek bastardisation of Het-Ka-Ptah - house of the spirit ptah - it was never a native name for any nile valley society.

Km.t, which does indeed mean Black, is a native Nile Valley African name, as is Kush, TaMeru, Ta Seti, Punt, etc.
