A major famine has happened only once and that was in the city of baidoa during the fightings in southern somalia in the early 1990's(they don't even speak somali), baidoa is a small city in southern somalia and was overhyped by the Bush regime for their invasion disguised as humanitarian help, they ended up killing more people than those who died of famine in the city of baidoa. Sudan's president has been accused of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
