As the thread's topic initiates, resisting cooperation is one of the first steps to standing up. The problem with Egmond is, he cooperates eagerly and willfully in corruption.

In fact cockroaches have more self-esteem than so called "gays". They are the lowest of the low of all the things from the whole universal.

If I sound different it might have to do with coming from Surinam and living for 28 years in Holland. We have about 12 different cultures from S. America, Africa, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, European Jews, Chinese and new groups like Brazilians, Guyanese, Haitians, Koreans, Puerto Ricans, Dutch etc. There are about 500.000 people living in Surinam, mostly along the coast with a huge, quite empty tropical jungle. We have all religions and we usually live in mixed neighbourhoods. Our country is hot, wet and green. We eat only fresh foods, things we usually make ourselves. We are a rice eating nation. Privacy is sacred; we are egalitarian, old fashioned and mild in our manners. We really try to accommodate anyone as people are not taught to label anything and anybody. Our women are free to have whatever relations they want to have, marriage is not so important. We mix freely socially, at university, at work, in restaurants, in sports and many Surinamese are of many continents. Sometimes the names do not match the face anymore and a black African type might have an Indian name and visa versa. As if the girls defied their meddling mothers and went to fall in love with just the type their mother warned them about. Soon all families will have members of a different race sitting at the dinner table, so who will they discriminate against? You guessed it, as I grow older I’m more appreciative of where I come from. These horrible things which went on and on in the US are not really part of our history. When I grew up the teachers were black, Indian or something, as were the president, judges, police men, scientist etc. Then I was fortunate to be born in a free type of family, with lots of reading and discussing things. My youth was filled with laughter and playing in the sun. People who are today falling over themselves to label me and suspect all kind of evil agenda’s might just consider the simple fact that I ‘m just being my Surinamese self, no?
