Well, it got officially hot for me today. I even broke into a sweat!
I went out walking and when I got to my friends there was no AC on or fan and I leaked!!!
Great stuff.
BUT... the worst experience of my life today A delivery guy must have dropped a crate of milk in the street that I had to walk down... I was nearly violently sick with the smell of day old milk on the hot floor ... eeeeeek.

Well it's day 2 of the new erection going up Friday got soaked acting as a builders mate helping with the frame. Today our neighbour has been helping with the glass (actually they're still out there! Earlier was chatting with neighbour's wife over the fence as you do and saw the horror on her face followed by the almighty crash of glass as one pain of glass hit the deck

SORRY... oopsie. I meant BBM. Blackberry Messaging.
Almost everyone I know has a Blackberry here... and the rumours of it being ousted are being taken as seriously as the Skype stories.
I am following trend and don't care...
YAH, I talked about you tonight, you are my Good Life girl... one thing my friends and I miss the most are our gardens... We admire you

Did I ever mention that my husband is an erection specialist? He deals with erections all day long AND he gets paid for it! Of course I'm referring to his job as he is specialised in steel (erections )
Ayisha thanks for asking about my sproglett she is doing great. She will be 6 weeks tomorrow and I got her weighed this morning and she is 13 lb 3 oz. She has gained nearly a pound every week since birth and on the chart they have for babies average height and weight she is on the 98th percentile.

Thankyou for clearing that up for me Ferret!
Good Life girl is preferable to a good time girl
Yes Crone he's bought a 6 by 10 Phoned about replacement glass, the company told me it would be £10 plus £35 for delivery, phoned a company nearer home they wanted £40 plus VAT Finally have managed to get it for £20, so he's picking it up on Friday.

Cheeky I can't take credit for the the sproglett name, that was Ayisha although I agree it is a cool name.
Ayisha I will add you now on FB as I've seen your name come up in friend suggestions things they have on there.
YAH I'm going to add some more recent pics this avo when Sam comes home from work as the memory card is in his laptop
He just started his job last week and I'm finding it a bit boring being at home with a baby who sleeps about 20 hours out of 24. There is a surestart just down the road but I can't even take her out in her super cool three wheeler pram as we live on the top of a really steep hill, going down is no problem but coming back is impossible as I'm still not 100% recovered from my section. I struggle to walk up it without carrying anything! Just have to wait until payday and then we can afford to buy an extremely cheap second car for me.

agree !!!
My son was a really small baby, 5lb 13oz and went down to just 5lb. He would have been happy to just sleep (he's not changed much) but I was told to force feed him so he would gain weight, every 2.5 hours round the clock! considering it took 2 hours to feed him each feed by the end of a week I didnt know what was up or down! Now he is a strapping man built like a brick ****-house
DG2 sleep when you can as she does, this WILL all change too quickly and you will be zombiefied for weeks.
Sproglett is totally gorgeous enough to eat!

Lucky you Ferret! I happened to mention I wanted to make some jam, a couple of jars each of strawberry and raspberry or so I thought. Hubby appeared with 2 buckets full last night 9lbs of strawberrys and 11 lbs of raspberrys to be exact. Jam anyone?

Ok form an orderly queue! Strawberry and raspberry jam ready Strawberry flan made, raspberries frozen, tubs of both given to neighbour and friend. Strawberry bucket finished, raspberry one nearly emptied (wine too complicated to consider ) so more jam possible. Erection nearly finished. Enjoyed a nice glass of vino sitting in it tonight

Found a new beautiful pool in Cairo and cannot make up my mind - which one to choose for all my future moments of sun&spoiling a la Cheekyferret here - this one:
The thing is Semiramis has a rather nice bookshop downstairs, with very decent selection of imported mags. I love In Style!, or even Newsweek...

I was in Semiramis yesterday and the service sucks and the bookstore was shut. I do have friend who uses the pool though but she gets a room as opposed to just paying pool side fee.
I think I have my 2 pools sorted now.
Currently sitting in Cosmopolitan Hotel downtown... Oldie worldy place with nice character. Smells like fust though!

Good on ya chica... and I am sure you will see 30 no probs.
I am having a break too... yesterday I was a tourist downtown. I was gutted! No one bothered me, harassed me, tried to sell me papyrus or oils and I didn't even get any verbal!
What does a chick have to do to feel harassed in this country.
I did go to Maccys for lunch only to be told they close for an hr at lunchtime! Irish!!!
Today I haven't even got dressed! Lush.
