Jetlag, cant sleep either Ferret...looks like I wont be doing much cooking.Seems cheaper to eat out than in Egypt here!(but that might be because Im not being charged twice as much)....infact on first impressions things in LA so much cheaper than Aus which means I might be able to afford the outrageous price to get into Disneyland- over US$150 for moi and kiddy!

Got up at 5.30am and went running. I feel totally amazing. I am loving getting back into running after a good 18 months off. Tried a few months ago but could feel things movinng around inside where my C Section scar is..all seems to be ok now.
Did 5 miles today. My personal best so far, amazing to think when I started less than a month ago running two miles made me puke...literally!
It's not even 8am and I've got the whole day ahead of me. I really appreciate them weekends now I am back to work

First weekend for ME in ages. No tourists (of mine) and hubby out the way. working up to doing a bit of cleaning, some puter housekeeping and inshaAllah some reading of the approx 50 new books I've acquired over the last month. and finally feet up with my new cross stitch kits
Would like to make a teeny weeny start on the spare bedroom, but 3 years dust is daunting

@Ayisha – Congrats on the weekend. All those books you acquire, you read and what? You got a cool library section in the crib or what. I'm actually working on that – a home library, L-corner actually.
@Dzosser for a minute looked up what you watched on IMDB but realized it was a football match.
Now chilling. Yankees won. I need to fix my hours though, there are things want to do during the day and by that I mean after 12pm noon. Also working on this week's plan, tomorrow going to the batting cage, definitely in the mood to hit some baseballs. You guys in Cairo, you do know they have softball league in Maadi. Anyway, here's their link, http://www.caslegypt.com/Posts: 2275 | Registered: Dec 2009

long weekend coming!!! WOOT.
Woohoo!! I'd totally forgot... then only 3 days to work the week after and then another 4 day week (well apart from all the coursework I need to do but I'll fit that in somewhere!)
I think I might just manage to work without wanting to chew my own arm off with boredom this week

I went on a nanobus yesterday Rode from Zamalek to 6O in a small maroon 5-passenger nanobus. 3 guys in there for part of the journey, but most of the way just me! Comfortable and speedy as a taxi, and 2.50LE all the way
PS Don't know what they're really called, but as they are smaller than a microbus, nanobus seems to sum it up!

@ Micky Yeah-yeah rub it in, what goes up, must come crashing down. The Yankee game will come on later. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Chilling now. Reaping the benefits of good neighborly housewives relations in our condo. The other day a khaleejeyeh returned from the Gulf and gave my wife Arabic coffee (the very light kind), perfect for making cardamom coffee. Today on the kitchen counter, a carrot cake. So having me some of that with light coffee. Keep up the good work ladies.
